The terminal that remembers.

One native window for SSH, Telnet, Serial, Local and Docker — plus server-bound notes and a plugin-aware log viewer. Built for people who manage thirty projects and remember none of them.

02 / The problem

I used MobaXterm for years. When my VPS had 5 projects, it was fine.

At 30+ projects, things broke down. I kept notes in Notion. Then in Notepad++. Then in both.

After six months I had 30 Notion pages and 87 Notepad++ tabs, most of them titled new 94 or new 112.

Every time I came back to a project, I'd start over. Re-search Docker. Re-search tmux. Re-look up the same Nginx snippets.

So I built SENU. One terminal that fixes all of it at once.

Five connections,
one window.

One window for the work you keep forgetting you did.

Three pillars that run the show. The shell layer is stable, the notes and log viewer are still in beta — usable today, sharper next release.

01

Notes that pin to the server.

Right-click any file in the SFTP browser → "Create note about this file." The note carries the server name and full path. Find it later by tag, folder, or by opening the same server.

  • Real folders · drag-and-drop · deterministic 24-hue tag colors
  • 1-second auto-save · sidebar · popup · full-screen surfaces
  • Push back to the server as a markdown file. A note IS your living docs.

02

A log viewer that knows what's an attack.

Tail any local file or remote log over SFTP. Pipe it through plugins that turn raw text into a structured table — and flag what shouldn't be there.

  • nginx-parser — status badges, structured rows
  • alert-rules — flags hits on /.env, /admin, /.git/config
  • json-pretty, laravel-parser, more on the way

One tab system, five protocols.

A native, multi-protocol shell with split-pane, broadcast input, port forwarding, OSC 52 clipboard sync, host-key TOFU, command palette, and the Boss Key (Ctrl+Shift+H).

  • SSH · Telnet · Serial · Docker exec · Local — all in one window
  • SFTP browser with built-in editor for nginx, sshd, systemd configs
  • Boss Key hides the UI behind a decoy. Command Palette fuzzy-launches anything.

NO TELEMETRY.
NO CLOUD.

— Local-first

Notes, snippets, command history, workspace state — all stored in the OS app-data directory. SENU works the same online or offline.

— No reporting

SENU never reports usage, version, IP, or any other data home. No GA, no Plausible, no Mixpanel. Nothing.

— No accounts

No sign-up, no login, no server-side state. The app you install is the app you run.

— Open source

Apache 2.0. Audit the code yourself. Auto-updates exist (signed via GitHub) but they're opt-in — you confirm every update.
